The LCC runs a number of educational courses including a 3-day Conservation of Leather course held annually at West Dean College. We also offer courses on Species ID and red rot and are happy to tailor any other courses to specific needs where these fall within the remit of our expertise. We are able to provide these across the UK and internationally.
We also host work placements and internships where conservation undergraduates, recent graduates and mid-career conservators work alongside members of staff to gain hands-on practical experience in treating the specific problems associated with the conservation of historic leather objects.
